The Big 3 will look to keep their dominance as NASCAR heads into the second road-course race of this season: the GoBowling at the Glen 220.

Even though Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are understandably the favorites once again, on this 2.45-mile track at Watkins Glen there are bound to be a few drivers, which one may not expect, threatening the leaders.

AJ Allmendinger has just two top-10 finishes this season, however with four top-10s in his past five races at the Glen including a triumph in 2014, he’ll be at or near the top all day as his aggressive nature plays well on these street courses – even if Watkins Glen isn’t as technically challenging as Sonoma.

Denny Hamlin might not be the exact same sort of sleeper pick as Allmendinger, however with five top-10 finishes – including four in the top 5 in his past five road-course races – that the 37-year-old needs to be optimistic that he can catch his first win of this year in New York on Sunday.
